Capcom revealed that the global sales of the Monster Hunter series have now exceeded 100 million copies. Moreover, Monster Hunter Rise has achieved over 15 million units in sales, while its expansion, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, has surpassed the eight million mark.

Back in June 2023, the sales figures for Monster Hunter Rise and its expansion were reported at 13 million and six million units, respectively. Remarkably, both the game and its expansion have maintained an average annual sales rate of around two million units since their launch.

To mark this significant achievement, a special commemorative artwork has been released in celebration of the franchise's latest milestone.

As disclosed earlier, Monster Hunter: World has achieved sales surpassing 25 million units, maintaining an impressive streak of selling over one million units annually for seven consecutive years since its launch. This installment stands as Capcom's top-selling game to date.

In celebration of the franchise's 20th anniversary, the forthcoming installment, Monster Hunter Wilds, is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam in early 2025.
